3A Molecular Sieve
3A molecular sieve is a sodium alumino silicate, with pore size of about 3Å (angstroms) in its crystal structure, thus named 3A molecular sieve. This pore structure selectively adsorbs molecules with a diameter smaller than 3Å, such as water molecules. It is suitable for drying gases and liquids, as well as for dehydration of hydrocarbons.
